|Day 1||Initial meeting, registration and drivers briefing at Folkestone, Kent. We then set off for the 5 minute drive to the Eurotunnel for crossing into France where we make use of the super-efficient auto routes and a stop off in Reims to soak up the abandoned circuits eerie atmosphere before continuing our journey further into France then on to our first's night's stay in Gerardmer in the Vosges mountains.|
|Day 2||A day of pure driving pleasure. We enjoy the excellent roads and scenery that the Vosges Mountains have to offer, a taster for what is to come in the following days of the tour! For the night we live like Kings at the gorgeous 15th Century Chateau Des Comptes de Challes where an exquisite dinner can be had.|
|Day 3||Chambery is perfectly situated at the foot of the Rhône-Alpes and the beginning of our Alpine Adventure! Our morning drive takes us to Mont Cenis and a loop around the beautiful lake. Then north to the stunning mountain resort of Val-d'Isère giving a real taste of what is to come on our weekends driving with amazing views and some real drivers roads. We then head up to the Petit Saint Bernard Pass for a rest stop. After a lovely French lunch we head north via the Grand Saint Bernard Pass and into Switzerland for a two night stay in the heart of the Swiss Alps.|
|Day 4||Today is light on mileage and high on fun! A day full of local Swiss mountain passes to enjoy at your leisure and with no onward destination you can enjoy, in our opinion, the best that Switzerland has to offer! A mixture of challenging driving roads and utterly breath-taking scenery this day will be etched in your memory forever. There is no set time on today's journey, you can choose to follow us on a tour of the Furka, Susten, Grimsel, Saint Gotthard and Nufenen passes or you can enjoy them at your leisure via the map packs and navigation systems supplied.|
|Day 5||We depart the Western Swiss Alps and revisit the outstanding Nufenen pass and then onward to another of our favourites, the Julier pass past St Moritz. It's then into Italy and Livigno where we drive the Passo Eira and Passo Foscagno and stop for lunch where you can also take the opportunity for some duty free shopping! Its then onto Bormio where we begin the ascent to the infamous Stelvio pass, a real challenging driver's road. At the summit a chance to take photos at a height of 2757m. From here we then tackle the adjoining Umbrail pass just a few km from our hotel and our night stay.|
|Day 6||This morning we tackle two of our favourite roads – the Offen & Fluela passes, fast and flowing with a stunning backdrop these roads are pure driving joy. We then wave goodbye to the Alps and pass Davos and Lake Zurich then stop off for lunch at the Swiss/German Border. If you think by crossing into Germany the fun is over then think again! We spend the entire afternoon heading north along the entire B500 Black Forest route, Ducati's proving ground and a real driver's favourite – this route has it all! A fantastic way to end the penultimate day of the tour! Our night's stay is at the gorgeous Spa town of Baden Baden.|
|Day 7||With the trip over it's time for the last leg of the tour. A pleasant and relaxed journey through France with a stop off at the historic deserted Reims racing circuit. Your chance to soak up the eerie atmosphere and drive the main straight stooped in history before saying goodbye to new found friends and the short Eurotunnel crossing before arriving home in Blighty.|
